In order to travel from the airport to the city center your best alternative is to take bus 175 or train from the station next to the airport. On the match days between the stops Warsaw-Stadium and Warsaw-Chopin Airport there will be some additional trains coursing.
Another way to get to the city center is by a cab. The car needs to be marked with: the coat of arms of Warsaw (a mermaid) on the front doors, yellow-red stripes below the windows along the front doors, a number situated on the side of the car, hologram with the license number and registration number of the vehicle in the right upper corner of the windscreen, information on the fare for 1 km, cab fare 1 located on the right side window of the back doors.
The current prices (maximum):
Initial fare - 8 PLN; Daytime fare within the city zone - 3 PLN for 1 km; Night fare within the city zone as well as on Sunday and holiday fare - 4.50 PLN for 1 km; Daytime fare within the suburban zone - 6 PLN for 1 km; Night fare within the suburban zone as well as on Sunday and holiday fare - 9 PLN for 1 km; 1-hour stay of the cab - 40 PLN.
If you are about to travel via public transportation, do not forget to buy a ticket. You may do it either in a kiosk or a special vending machine with instruction on its use provided in English.
There will be four F lines coursing in order to provide transportation for the supporters in the fan zone. You may take this bus between 10:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., and on the match days between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. Bus lines - marked with letters SH - will be operating in the area of car parks, where the night buses do not travel at all. The mentioned above four SH lines will be coursing between 10 a.m. on the day of the game and 10 a.m. on the next day.
Throughout the nights when the matches will be taking place a subway will be operating more often. You will be able to use it all night long and - what is more - you will be able to do it quite frequently - every five minutes until midnight, and every fifteen minutes later on.
The supporters with a ticket for a match are entitled to use the city public transportation and trains free of charge.
