You will be able to watch the games in the Fan Zone too

The fan zone in Warsaw is the biggest out of four official fan zones in the Polish host cities. It is also situated in the nearest proximity to the stadium where the games are about to take place. During the tournament the zone is able to accommodate 100 thousand football supporters!

Zone, the area of which reaches 70 thousand square meters, is located right in the city center - in the Defilad Square next to the Palace of Culture and Science, the highest building in Poland. You may get to the area, which is easily accessible from all the remaining parts of the city, via a direct bus line from the airport. It is located just next to the Central Station, pretty close to the National Stadium.

Within the zone there will be plenty of cultural events going on, filling your free time between the game broadcasts. You will be able to enjoy the view from six large screens, where you can watch the games. There will be two stands located at the two main entrances - one at the Marszałkowska Street and the second one at Jerozolimskie Avenues.

What is more, there is also a McDonald's restaurant, ten information desks, zone of the promotional activity of the sponsors, three food and beverage zones, an official shop with UEFA EURO 2012 souvenirs and sport equipment, platform for media and the Press Office on the 1st floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, mother-and-child room next to the main entrance to the Palace of Culture and Science, as well as the point for missing children.

Apart from that, there will be many portable toilet cabins available within the zone. Along the four entrances there will be also some depositories for the forbidden items which cannot be brought inside the fan zone.

weapons, explosives, knives, helmets, umbrellas, bottles, cans, cups, jugs, pyrotechnic materials, alcoholic beverages, drugs, flag or banner masts longer than 1 m and more than 1 cm in diameter, banners or flags bigger than 2 m x 1.5 m, professional photo cameras, video cameras, animals, aerosol gas, caustic substances, flammable substances, dyestuff, megaphones, horns and other sound emitting devices, vuvuzelas, parts of clothing covering your face, balaclavas.

How to get to the zone:
Tram lines: 7, 9, 24, 25, 77 and buses: 117, 158, 507, 517, 521. For the entire period of Euro 2012 there are some additional public transport connections provided. On the game days, i.e. 8, 12, 16, 21, 28 of June 2012 you will reach the Fan Zone also on a bus, going from Park & Ride car park.

You will get from the Chopin airport to the zone taking bus no. 175 or a train from a Chopin Airport station - in order to get to the zone you need to get off the bus or train on: Warszawa Centralna or Warszawa Śródmieście station.

Opening hours:
12 p.m. - 1 a.m. - on the match days,
12 p.m. - 11 p.m. - on the non-match days,
12 p.m. - 4 a.m. - night of July 1st.
