The project of the stadium generated controversies right from the start. At first, they concerned the spot - some voices were pretty reluctant to the idea of building it where the former 10th-Anniversary Stadium was located (which means almost in the Warsaw city center). They opted for an investment outside the city. Later on, due to some construction-related delays the opening had to be postponed twice. Until now not everyone enjoys its siding. The price shocked quite a few as well.
